Submissions to Blog Battle Royale III closed this past Monday, at noon EDT. All posts have been reviewed--this time by the Customer Love team--and have been narrowed down to four (4) Finalists. Now remember, our current Champion gets an "automatic in" for this round, so that's a total of five.
The Finalists are (in no particular order):
- Fresh Fit In West Virginia Means- Your Cottage Cheese Thighs Look Nice In Spandex.
- To to Incorporate Subway into a Hypnosis Session
- Diving Into My Own Sub
- All Hail The Sammich Artist
As a reminder, each of these folks receive an iPod Touch, a $50 gift card to Subway, and the potential of being named the third Champion (which comes along with a fantastic brag badge, courtesy of Marty).
I'm still waiting on the iPods to be delivered to the office but as soon as they are I'll send them out. Given that, please e-mail me directly at Ashley[at]PayPerPost[dot]com with your mailing information (no PO Boxes), as well as your t-shirt size. To give enough time for your items to reach you, and for you publish your post on the product review, final posts are due Wednesday, November 14th by noon (EDT); you can send them to me via e-mail, or post them here. If for some reason the items don't reach the Finalists by then, we'll make accommodations.

OMG Do you people realize that, ok even though I haven't officially "won", won, if that makes sense, the last time my name was mentioned as a finalist in ANYTHING, I was 8 and a story I wrote about the "fads" of the day, (back in 1981), made 3rd place and failed to be put in the time machine that was opened in 2000? I am not making this up- you can even call my mom and ask LOL Thank you Customer Love! You love me, you really, really love me!

I know what you mean Marcus. I should have stepped it up like Markus Did. I was thinking of doing the same sort of thing with a multimedia post but it was kind of hard to do with a new baby in the house and I was watching her the day I decided to enter.
On another note I didn't put in my post that the Subway people behind the counter forgot the lettuce and tomatoes for my sandwich and eating just one 6 inch sub spiked my sugar 104 points still two hours later. I went from 88 to 192. So needless to say that $50 gift card would have been lost on me, but that iPod touch man, that would have fit very well into my multimedia family.
Just gotta step up my game the next time around. This is a battle. BTW Marcus, I liked your post too.

I actually find this remark very offensive. All I do is post for PPP. I have no personal relationships with anyone who works for PPP. In the past a majority of contests have been Postie voted, which leads to a large percentage of us being left out because we aren't in the "in" crowd. Like I said in my comment above- I never win anything-ever. And even in one other contest I entered I still congratulated the winner even though I felt my post was just as well written. A sore loser, I am not. A bragging winner I am not. I'm just as excited about the t-shirt and Subway gift card. It's almost as if you're accusing the winners of somehow paying off a PPP employee in order to be chosen. Trust me, I don't have enough money to eat or pay most of my rent, the last thing I would do is pay someone to win an Ipod Touch. I'm excited for the first time in over a year. I would have hoped others would be excited for all of the winners as well.

The last BBR finalist competitions we're chosen by votes from the public and from what I've heard there was a lot of foul play going on they they switched it to Customer Love this time around. I don't know how it could be biased now.
This is my first time competing in the Blog Battle Royale, I worked on my entry most of the week, spent an entire lunch hour taking the photos and worked more into the weekend on editing and getting the last couple paragraphs done. It was an obsession but it was a lot of fun and I'm glad some of you enjoyed reading it.
