There seems to be some confusion, for SocialSpark posties, on what to do when you get to step 5, Paste the HTML code of your post, on the take opportunity screen. Hopefully, this will clear it up.
If you've taken a sponsored post/opportunity, then you have seen this screen:
Using blogspot, I will show you what needs to be placed in step 5. Here is what the screen looks like when you write a post. Look familiar??? There should be an option to view the HTML code for the post.
If you click the "Edit HTML" or "View HTML link, you will then see this:
This, 3rd image, shows the HTML of this post. This is what needs to be copied and pasted into the box, under step 5, of the take opportunity screen.
I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion.
Yep, afraid it's true. This may be our last $1K Tuesday for a while so I wanted to let you know as early as possible. And, man! is it early! Or late, I guess. Whichever, I'm sleepy but excited to get $1K kicked off this week! The first Opp's been released already. Are you the lucky Postie who's in the process of making $50 right now?? If you are, congrats!
And if you're hearing about $1K Tuesday for the first time, here's how it works:
* A total of 11 Opp's will be released via PayPerPost by IZEA between
midnight (beginning of Tuesday, March 25) and 11:59 p.m. (end of Tuesday)
Eastern Standard Time.
* The total payout of those Opp's will be $1,000.00 to the lucky Posties who grab them. Ten of the Opp's will be worth $50.00 each, and the granddaddy Opp is worth $500.00!!!
* Any and all Posties with an approved blog in PayPerPost's Marketplace will be eligible for these Opp's.
* They will be open to all locations, all ranks, all categories.
* Each will require a link & a Disclosure Badge (you'll need the ITK Tools for the badge).
*
Once you accept one of these Opp's, you will be temporarily benched so
each Postie can grab only one of the $1K's. No worries - that has no
effect on your Tack Ranking.
Once you snag one of these Opp's, just follow the simple instructions in the Opp. We'll review these just like any other Opp, and send you an email with the results!
As before with $1K's, the last thing we want these Opp's to be is predictable. The Opp titles will most likely not give them away as $1K's. And you may be just as likely to see one released at 2:00 a.m. as 10:33 p.m., or any time in between. Maybe we'll release 5 in a row that are exactly an hour apart, or maybe 6 of them all at the same time.
If you're still not sure if you want to join in the fun, maybe some of the Posties who have grabbed a $1K before can leave a comment here - was it worth it for $50 or $500 to watch for the opps on Tuesday? Were you making plans for the money while you were typing your post? Did you get writer's block when you realized you actually grabbed a $1K?
Good luck, Posties! We can't wait to read those $1K posts!!
This might be a rather basic "tip," but it's certainly something every Postie should be familiar with (and we get many tickets associated with it). The post is a little long but there's a wealth of information included so try to stick with it!
So....
Your blog has been accepted. You’re poised to be the best blogger the world has ever seen. You find a great PayPerPost Opportunity (Opp) you want to write about on your dashboard, reserve it and…. then what?
What does it all mean? How do you make sure that your post meets all of the requirements? What on earth is buzz? Don’t panic! With these simple tips and techniques you can make sure you craft the perfect Opp every time, and eventually make more money.
The first thing that you want to do is to read through your Opportunity description. You do, after all, want to know what the heck the Opportunity is, don't you? This will let you know what the advertiser expects from the post you're writing. It will usually contain background about the advertiser as well as what information they wish (and do not wish) to be included in your post. It should also give you a general idea of how they would like that information to be presented. This section may also include additional links that the advertiser would like included in the post, so please be sure to read this carefully.

Tip:
After you've reserved a post you have six hours to write the post, publish it to your Blog and submit the post URL to us. If you have not submitted the post to us within the six hour reservation window, the reservation will automatically open back up to the Marketplace.
Just under the Opportunity Description is a box containing the required link. This is the link that must be present in your post in order for it to be submitted successfully to the Marketplace and accepted in review. All links will start with "a href=".
Tip:
Anchor text can always be found between the >< of the required link. For example, in the link < a href= http://payperpost.com>PayPerPost "PayPerPost" is the anchor text.;
Under the required link will be any tracking image links or required image links that will also need to be added to your post.
Tip:
Although a Custom Tracking Image is used for tracking purposes, it does not actually produce an image. Sometimes you might see a dot or a small square where you have inserted it, but there is no actual image. However, as long as you have pasted it into the text of your post, we'll find it.
Next to the opportunity description you will find a quick rundown of the Opp. requirements including the main category of the Opp., it’s expiration date, the minimum number of words your post should contain and what sort of type and tone your post should be.
There are three different Post Types in the PPP Marketplace, Buzz, Review and Opinion. We will be discussing these individually and giving examples in upcoming blog posts, however, here are our definitions of each.
Buzz: Meant to get the word out, spread the word.
Review: An honest review of a site or product, a detailed or analytical evaluation. These may include the pros & cons, improvement suggestions or ease of use of the product or site.
When providing a review, Posties may be asked to walk through certain areas or processes on a website, or share an experience they've had with a product offered to them by the Advertiser.
Opinion: Input, feedback, thoughts, opinion a Postie may have on the topic of the Opportunity. What do you think: Good or bad?
Finally, at the bottom of the Opportunity Details page, you will see all the segmentation information for the Opp. There are several factors involved in the segmenting of Opps including domain, rankings, location and categories. If even one of these is a mismatch with the advertiser, the Opp will be segmented and you will not be able to take it or post it to a non-qualifying Blog.

Even More Tips:
Before accepting a post submission, the PPP system checks that the required link, tracking image and any required image links appear in your post exactly as they do in the Opp. Should you receive a submission error, be sure to check that your blog host did not add or misinterpret characters or text to this link in HTML.
In order for your sponsored post to be accepted, your Interim posts do need to be comprised of at least 3-5 sentences of original content. Interim posts are defined as the posts immediately before and immediately following a PPP sponsored post. These posts should be non-sponsored, original content that is engaging. These posts should not be simply fillers to satisfy sponsored content requirements.
Categories must match EXACTLY for an Opp to be available to you. For example, if an Opp chooses Blogs with a "Technology" category and you have chosen the specialized category Technology/Gadgets, this would NOT be a match.
The system will only allow you to hold one reservation at a time. If you take a second reservation before you have submitted the first, the first reservation will cancel and open back up to the Marketplace.
Did you know you were supposed to move the clocks ahead ('spring ahead!') this weekend? Or did you make it through all of Monday without even knowing you are an hour off from everyone around you? Maybe you don't live where daylight savings is observed and you think the rest of us are a bit odd for changing time.
No matter - it is important to know, though, that it is less than 1/2 hour until midnight EST, and another $1K Tuesday!
Are you ready to get paid $50 or $500 for one post? We offer 10 Opp's for $50 each, and 1 Opp for $500 during the hours of 12:01 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. during $1K Tuesday! We have several advertisers who already pay $50 or more for one post, but our Posties tell us it can be difficult to grab those Opp's. The recent changes to pagerank made it even more challenging. So these posts for $1K Tuesday will be open to everyone. Check out the details on the last $1K Tuesday post.
Have a great Tuesday - we'll do our best to make you part of this $1K Tuesday!
So, Posties, what lasts 24 hours, results in 10 different Posties receiving $50.00 each and one Postie receiving $500.00, is open to all Posties, all ranks, all locations, all categories and adds some extra fun to your average sponsored blogging day? It is . . .
And it's going to begin in about 5-1/2 hours!! Place some good snacks near your computers, program your DVR's to catch up on your fav tv shows on Wednesday, put your email notices on 'out of office', and double check your internet connections! Starting just after midnight (maybe . . .) is the next $1K Tuesday!
For those of you who have recently joined us as new Posties, well - first, WELCOME!! Also, here's what $1K Tuesday is all about.
* IZEA sponsors 11 individual Marketplace Opportunities, totaling $1,000.00 in offer amounts. One Postie will be able to grab the Opp worth $500!!
* These Opp's are open to all bloggers with an approved blog in the PPP Marketplace, no segmentation specifications are included.
* Opp's are released any time between 12:01 a.m. - 11:59 p.m., EST (That's Orlando & New York time) on Tuesday, March 4th.
* Link and Disclosure badge are required for each post. You'll need the ITK Tools for the Disclosure badge.
* Once you have accepted a $1K Tuesday Opp you will be benched for 30 days from other IZEA promotional Opp's. This won't affect your Tack rating at all, we just do this to reach as many Posties as possible with the $1K Opp's.
* We try to keep these Opp's fresh and surprising so the titles and short descriptions of the Opp's will not give away they are part of the $1K Opp's. Simply follow the instructions in the Opp's long description if you happen to grab one of these. They'll be reviewed just like any other posts.
Keep in mind we have a lot of fantastic Opp's in the Marketplace from our advertisers right now so even if you aren't able to grab one of the $1K's tomorrow, you still have a great group of Opp's to choose from!
Good luck, Posties! And Happy Blogging!
It's hard to believe, but spring is right around the corner. All of you white, pasty northerners will soon be bearing your glowing skin in bathing suites. You need a tan. Bad. Seriously. Luckily, one of our favorite advertisers has got your back.
Ocean Potion is running an online video contest to promote their line of tanning products. They are giving away a $5000 cash prize or an XTREME Dream Vacation - which includes stay in a luxury hotel in Las Vegas,
Air Combat Fighter Pilot Training, Dune Buggy Baja Excursion, and Race
Car Driving Challenge. I could sure use either, but the vacation sounds awesome.
Not only do you have an opportunity to win, but you can get paid for your entry through PPP! They have a video Opp in the system right now for almost $40. Let's give this advertiser some creative, high quality videos.
As if the contest and the Opp weren't enough, I am going to throw you a little something extra. If one of you who takes this Opp wins this contest I will tan your first name on my back (yes, male or female). You'll be with me all summer long! I am not really sure if I want a man or woman to win this.
Check out the spring break contest here.
Have fun with it. Le'ts do a great job and get more Opps from this advertiser in the future!
I'll try to keep it brief 'cause I don't want you to miss the awesome post below by Drew.
Apparently Ted thinks I've been getting too much sleep because $1K Tuesday continues this week!!! The Opp's will be released from midnight, beginning of Tuesday through 11:59 pm, end of Tuesday, all times are Eastern Standard Time. We will release 11 non-segmented Opp's, with offer amounts totaling $1,000.00! That's 10 opp's at $50.00 each, and one big opp at $500.00!
Check out the specifics in last week's post if you need. Remember, grabbing one of the $1K's means you'll be briefly benched. So if you got one of the $1K's last week, you are benched for 30 days from the next $1K's to share the fun with as many Posties as possible.
Good luck, Posties!!!
Ooooh, I bet you're wondering . . . is that the right image? Did they accidentally grab the $1K Tuesday pic? Did someone mix up the graphics? And the answer is NO!
$1K Tuesday is back!!!
'What is $1K Tuesday,' you ask? It's just the best possible form of blogging fun there is. Ever. Anywhere. Involving the best bloggers. That's all.
So here's how it works:
* A total of 11 Opp's will be released by PayPerPost between midnight (beginning of Tuesday, Feb 19) and 11:59 p.m. (end of Tuesday) Eastern Standard Time.
* The total payout of those Opp's will be $1000.00 to the lucky Posties who grab them. Ten of the Opp's will be worth $50.00 each, and the one biggie Opp is worth $500.00 to one Postie!!!
* Any and all Posties with an approved blog in PayPerPost's Marketplace will be eligible for these Opp's.
* They will be open to all locations, all ranks, all categories.
* Each will require a link & a Disclosure Badge (you'll need the ITK Tools for the badge).
* Once you accept one of these Opp's, you will be temporarily benched so each Postie can grab only one of the $1K's. No worries - that has no effect on your Tack Ranking.
If you are one of the lucky Posties to grab one of these tomorrow, just follow the simple instructions in the Opp. We'll review these just like any other Opp, and send you an email with the results!
As before with $1K's, the last thing we want these Opp's to be is predictable. The Opp titles will most likely not give them away as $1K's. And you may be just as likely to see one released at 2:47 a.m. as 4:45 p.m. Or maybe those will be two of the exact release times and I just made a huge slip. Or maybe we'll be sure to NOT release any at those times because now you expect it. See how much fun this is? And it's not even Tuesday yet!!
Good luck, Posties!! We can't wait to see those $1K Posts!
Hi Guys,
It's that time again! We're about to run another sampling campaign. Aren't you EXCITED?!?! I won't tell you what the product is, but I will tell you it has a wonderful, soothing, and sensual scent to it. And, the best part is It's ALL NATURAL! Have I got your curiosity yet? These days there are so many variations of scented products: candles; body wash; shampoo; oils; you name it! It's for me to know, and you to find out! One thing I do know is that I'm going to have sample this one myself.
So, for those of you that I've managed to entice and you live in the United States, (sorry others), make sure your mailing and e-mail addresses are current in our system. The campaign is scheduled to go live the 3rd week of February and we'll be mailing out the samples shortly before. We will be using the same process we always do, which is mailing approximately double the amount of samples versus the number of posts needed. So be sure to check your mailbox daily and grab your post quick upon arrival! These will be gone quick!
Best of all, if you like the product (which I'm confident you will), there's a $1.00 off coupon with it. We all love smelly things... especially us women! Make sure your address and e-mail address are updated NOW! For those of who fall into the criteria I listed above, expect an e-mail with the special 'invite only' TAG code soon!

I know what it is, but you don't know.... na, na, na, na, na.....
Carri & I are joining forces in the way of a new weekly series for bloggers, titled "Tip of the Week." Pretty ingenious title, eh? It might be simple but we think it conveys just what our goal is: to help Posties get the most out of their PayPerPost experience. We want to equip everyone from the most inexperienced bloggers--just starting out with PayPerPost--to the more veteran Posties who have become exceptional at their craft.
Given that, we have chosen to launch this series covering some basic topics we feel are important to both Posties and Advertisers. Part I: Categories.
As a Postie you might ask yourself these questions when it comes to categories:
- What is a category?
- Why should I choose categories?
- What categories should I choose?
- What are the "right" categories for me?
- What should I consider when choosing categories?
For starters, a category is a general overview or a guideline of topics you blog about most often. Categories should not be chosen by what you would LIKE to write about, but based on what you already DO write about.
When choosing categories for your blog, the expectation is that a chosen category should be clearly reflected in a large percentage of your posts. In the PPP Marketplace, you are permitted to choose up to four (4) relevant categories for your blog. This means that, in taking a look at the non-sponsored content for a month's time, you should see several posts represented in each of your chosen categories.
To choose or update your categories simply click on the 'My Blogs' tab at the top right of your account, and then click on the name of your blog. (See image below.) Although choosing four categories is not required, most blogs do cover at least three to four general topics and choosing the best categories for your blog will help you to qualify for more relevant marketplace Opportunities (Opps).
'My Blogs' tab:

In the PayPerPost Marketplace, there are several factors involved in the segmenting of Opps including domain, rankings, location and categories. Advertisers choose categories for their Opps so that they will be taken by bloggers who specialize and blog primarily about these categories. This is part of the inherent value of a sponsored post as the advertisers are attempting to target not only bloggers in this genre, but also an audience interested in this genre. As such, bloggers who post Opps outside of their categories do not present any value to an advertiser either in related content or target audience.
Being more mindful of the categories that you choose will allow you to create a much sharper focus for your blog which should result in increased readership and lead to higher rankings. In short, everyone wins!
So that you can maximize your Opportunity potential we strongly encourage all Posties--new and veterans--to check the categories they currently have selected for their profile, and make sure they are relevant not only to your blog(s) but also to your audience. (Please note: You may only change categories once every 30 days on approved blogs.)

The IZEA Team
Ted said, "I want to meet as many Posties as possible on my way to PostieCon - make it happen." So the marketing team got together and decided to create an Opportunity for Posties to cover each tour stop. Wow! What a concept. If that idea was a snake it would have bit us.
As a result, PayPerPost is offering to pay Posties $45 for covering the event stops in each city. Additionally, Posties at each stop will have the chance to win an iRobot. The iRobot goes to the Postie that brings the most canned food items to that event stop. All donations will then be delivered to a local food bank or shelter. It's nice to work a good deed into the plan... Ted's idea.
As part of the deal, PayPerPost will accept up to 10 Posties for each of the 9 tour stop cities, 90 slots total. That's more than $4000 in payouts. Nothing like this has ever been done before. Well, okay, it has. We just did something similar for CollegeFEST. But, it worked so well we decided to do it again. Turns out, this is the perfect way for PayPerPost to demonstrate the value of its network and the Posties that power it.
At each event you'll get the chance to speak with Ted, get an exclusive introduction to Argus, and help out a worthy cause with your canned food donation. And, as usual, Ted will have some other tricks up his sleeve... all good blog post material. It will be a blast and you'll get paid!
All active Posties qualify for this Opportunity. If you live near these cities, apply for the $45 BAT Opportunity by email at blogtour [at] payperpost dot com. Please include the following:
- Event City (see below)
- Your full name
- Daytime phone and
- PayPerPost user name.
NOTE: Deadline for submission is Oct. 19. All selected Posties will be notified on Oct. 22 and given specific details on exact event location and times. Selections are on a first come, first served basis. So don't wait! Once a city reaches 10 Posties, it's closed.
The $45 BAT Opp includes the following cities:
- Orlando, FL - Nov. 1
- Tampa, FL - Nov. 1
- Atlanta, GA - Nov. 2
- Tuscaloosa, AL (Alabama v. LSU) - Nov. 3
- Jackson, MS - Nov. 4
- Little Rock, AR - Nov. 4
- Dallas, TX - Nov. 5
- Albuquerque, NM - Nov. 6
- Phoenix, AZ - Nov. 6
The Tour will end in Las Vegas on Nov. 7, but we have other plans for that destination... if you haven't already heard, it's called PostieCon on Nov. 10. It's shaping up to be an awesome event, including a special VIP Blogger's Choice Award party at Tao nightclub. If you haven't registered yet, get on it. Time is running out.
So that's, that. What are you waiting for? You need to jump all over this fun and exciting opportunity! See you on the road.
Hi Posties!!
Are you ready for $1K Tuesday? Between noon today and noon tomorrow, we will be releasing 11 Opp's worth a total of $1K. No segmentation on these! What? That's right - they are open to any blogger with a blog approved for the Marketplace. Let the $1K begin!!
Remember the days of watching the Jetsons on TV? You'd watch them fly around and talk to each other on video.
Well at long last, comes the video phone! Look how far we've come. Packet8 is currently running an opp in our Marketplace. It's called, "Business VoIP".
This opportunity has been revised and is now live. We optimized it in hopes that more of you could enjoy it and participate. The offer is $25 so be sure to grab your post early before they're gone. They won't last long.
We want you to blog about living like the Jetsons. Who would you call?
Even though you missed out on $1K Tuesday, you may still be able to grab a $50 or $150 Opp now through noon tomorrow. Why?! Because it is WorldWide Wednesday!! Don't tell me you forgot? No way!! Well, let me remind you!
WorldWide Wednesday has been following $1K Tuesdays for a few weeks now. It is our way at PayPerPost to show appreciation to our Posties around the globe. When we released segmentation by location, some folks were concerned all the Opp's would be going to U.S. only bloggers. Well, we've seen that's not the case - while some advertisers do segment to U.S. bloggers due to product or event limitations, many, many Opp's are still sent out to bloggers worldwide. For WorldWide Wednesday, we want to share more love with our non-U.S. posties, too.
On WorldWide Wednesdays we've been releasing 3 Opportunities to non-U.S. posties. Those Opp's include 2 $50.00 Opp's, and the big $150.00 Opp. They can be (and maybe one has been . . . ) released any time between noon on Wednesday and noon on Thursday. Well, gotta get back to it, I have some WorldWide Wednesday work to do!
Hey Posties,
It is Tuesday so that means it is $1K Tuesday!!! Starting at noon today, going through noon tomorrow, we will be releasing 11 Opps worth a total of $1,000 in offer amounts to Posties! These Opp's will not be segmented, but open to everyone!!
We usually have a preplanned idea of when we'll be releasing the Opps, but not this week. Hmmm . . . when will they go out - we're still guessing ourselves so good luck!!
Also - just a reminder, if you grab a $1K Tuesday Opp, you'll be automatically benched for 30 days from any other promotional PPP Opps (ie: $1K Tuesdays & Worldwide Wednesdays). You'll still see any other PPP Opps that are started.
Looking forward to your posts!!
Well, obviously we all like opps that pay well. I mean aside from that, what kind of opps do you like best? I am curious.
I think we are all naturally drawn to opps that concern products or subject matter that we feel we have a special affinity for. I worked for many years in finance, and so while others may not find opps that deal with credit, loans, or mortgages very appealing, I tend to take every one I qualify for because the subject matter is interesting to me and I can write about it easily and comfortably. As an avid moviegoer, I also tend to gravitate toward opps that publicize the release of new films
Aside from that, I really like opps that are interactive and enable me to be creative, such as the one where you made your own sandcastle, or the more recent one where you designed your own sneaker. I had so much fun with that one, and got so caught up in the competiton and voting that I did a completely different post about it on my other blog just so I could direct more people over to vote for my shoe.
I didn't win. And so my dream of becoming a sneaker tycoon crumbled like the crazy pipe dream that it was.
But those opps were fun, they were out of the ordinary and they gave me a chance to show a little creative flair. I also get excited about opps that introduce me to a product or service that I end up being crazy about. The most recent example of this was the Cellfish opp. I use Cellfish all the time now to upload pictures to my cellphone. Cables and transfers and software may not be confusing for you, but they are for me, and the Cellfish application makes the process trouble free.
And this isn't a reason why I take an opp, and this may seem silly, but I always appreciate opps that where you can include an image or a video or something. I don't like a blog to have too many posts with just text. It feels like I'm reading a textbook. Ha! Get it? Text...Textbook?
Okay. I'll stop now.
So...what kind of opps do you like?

Hey Posties! $1K Tuesday went great - got some good posts submitted. For the non-U.S. Posties, it continues. We are 1/2 way through Worldwide Wednesday, and there are more Opp's to go! Keep watching for 'em!
Don't worry if you haven't gotten a $1K Tuesday Opp yet. You still have a chance. We have one hour to go and not all of the Opp's have been released yet. Keep watching . . .
Hey Posties!
Have you noticed yet that we try to kick off each $1K Tuesday a bit differently? Blogging throughout the day on some, mixing up the rate and order in which the Opp's are released? Oh yeah - we're mixin' it up!! Predictable is the last thing we want to hear related to $1K Tuesdays! So . . . has anyone grabbed any of the Opp's yet? Have they even been released yet? Man, what if we released them all at once . . . hmmm . . . There is nothing more fun that giving away $1K to our Posties.
Here's the deal: $1K Tuesday started today at noon EST, ends tomorrow at noon EST. We will be releasing 11 Opp's that have a total offer amount of $1K among them. Ten of those Opp's will have $50 offers each (yep, that's $500), and one will have an offer amount of $500 (and there's the other $500! Bam!). The Opp's are open to all ranks, categories and locations - no worries about segmentation here. Seems like some of the comments on our prior postings for $1K Tuesday / Worldwide Wednesday had some folks thinking the $1K Tuesdays were U.S. only, or North America only so we wanted to clear that up - these are ALL LOCATIONS. These Opp's could have any topic / title. We try to be creative. Lots of folks here at PPP have offered suggestions on topics. You as a Postie won't know that it is a $1K Tuesday Opp until you click through to see the full description.
Be sure to follow directions in the full description. These posts are reviewed just as any other post, and we don't want to send anyone rejection notices (in case you ever wondered - we don't like those either).
Finally, if you grab one of these promo Opps, $1K Tuesday or Worldwide Wednesday - you are benched from promo Opp's from PPP for 30 days. Any other Opp's PPP releases that are not contest or promo related will still be available to you. Again - just trying to reach as many Posties as possible. Good luck, Posties. We can't wait to see what you have to submit this week for $1K Tuesday!!
Yesterday may have been a holiday, but that just means we get to kick off the week back in the office with $1K Tuesday!!! For any new folks, $1K Tuesday is a chance for any and all Posties to grab an Opp with a high offer amount. We realize there are great new bloggers and fantastic established bloggers, and we want to be sure to give everyone the same chance at our $1K Tuesday Opps!
There will be a total of 11 Opp's, released between noon today and noon tomorrow, Eastern Standard Time. These Opp's will be sponsored by PayPerPost, and not have any segmentation limitations. That's right - they are open to any Postie approved for the Marketplace Opps!! Ten of the Opp's will have offer amounts of $50.00 each, with one biggie Opp for $500.00!!
Last week, our lucky blogger who snagged the $500.00 Opp was Macy, and you can check out her post here.
So watch for the $1K Tuesday Opps - you know we love to hide them behind a wide variety of topics and titles. Follow the instructions if you find one, and submit a fantastic post . . . it could earn you $50 or $500!!
Also - any blogger accepting the $1K Tuesday Opp's will be benched from any other Promo Opps (ie: Worldwide Wednesdays) for 30 days. This is an additional effort to reach as many bloggers as possible, but does not keep you from any regular Opp's that PPP may be releasing. Good luck!!
One of the things I like best about doing opps for PayPerPost is that it is usually very easy to work the given anchor text into the post. That may seem like a small thing, but I have done opps for a number of other brokers and often the anchor text is clunky and awkward. Then I have to do flips and twists to get it to fit into a sentence which will then fit into the paragraph. It's an exercise in frustration I could live without, quite frankly.
In general I have also found the PPP opps to be easier to understand. Sometimes with other companies I am left scratching my head as to exactly what they want, or how many links they require, or even exactly what they want the anchor text to be. Despite my best intentions I think this causes me to do a poorer job than I would have otherwise. Currently my PPP tack rating is 5. My rating is not nearly as good on either of the other two sites that give grades, and I think (and I hope I'm right) that the root cause of that is that it seems to be so much more difficult to take and understand an opp for those sites.
Ironically, what got me started thinking about this was a thread on the boards where a Postie had been suspended for a post involving an opp with a press release. The Postie had interpreted the opp to mean that no other words were required other than than press release itself. I will admit that sometimes the opps that include press releases can be a little confusing. I have seen several wherein the instructions it says not to use the press release, but at the bottom of the release itself is a notice to include the press release in its entirety. So that can be a little tricky. But that sort of example stands out to me precisely because it is the exception at PayPerPost, rather than the rule. That's how I see it, anyway.
The other thing I find frustrating about other brokers is the lack of variety of opps. Without mentioning specific brokers or advertisers, it seems that many of the former don't offer much of a variety of the latter. All too often I'll get notification of a new opp from one of these brokers and I'll check it out only to find it's basically the same opp as the one I did before. How many times can I write about Dr. Wackenbooty's new patented method for removing soap scum off your eyeballs? I'm sure Dr. Wackenbooty is a fine fellow, but once was more than enough for me, thank you very much.
For a while there it seemed that pickings were a little slim, but lately at PPP there have been a plethora of opps available, which has enabled me to easily choose advertisers that I was excited to write about and for which the prose came easily. Sometimes I'll find myself typing away for a while and then I'll remember "Oh yeah, this is an opp. I gotta work in a few things." I think in a lot of cases the opps I do the best job on are the ones I complete the fastest, because I am excited about the subject and I have a lot to say. And the words just flow. It hardly even seems like work.
Take that, Dr. Wackenbooty.
Good morning!!!
As many of you know from the blog yesterday, and at least one of you knows from grabbing a Worldwide Wednesday Opp yesterday, WORLDWIDE WEDNESDAY CONTINUES. Is this the first you're hearing of it?? Check out the original post from Ted explaining Worldwide Wednesdays then - it's another exciting promotion for PayPerPost Posties!!
We normally don't even tell anyone when we're reviewing Opps, so this may be a first, too . . . we will be releasing opp's over the next hour, and somewhere in there will be at least one Worldwide Wednesday Opp :) Maybe two . . . who knows! The last one will definitely be out before noon.
Enjoy - happy blogging!!!
The last $1K Tuesday Opp is out . . . or will be very soon . . .
Hope you enjoyed the fun! We will be reviewing the related Opps this afternoon so we can hopefully soon offer some major congrats to one happy $500.00 earner of the day!!
Thanks for sticking with us the last 24 hours. But don't sleep yet, Worldwide Wednesday is about to begin.
It's been a busy evening. What else was I going to do before going to sleep? Something to do with $1000 and PPP . . . oh right, release another opp for $1K Tuesday. No, that's not it. I just did that. So that must be it - time for sleep. Now the question is - when will the next Opp for $1K Tuesday be released? Will I set my alarm for an hour or two from now? Will someone else from Customer Love be ready to take over for me?
More to come on this $1K Tuesday! Stay tuned!
We released the first $1K Tuesday Opp right after noon today, and have been sneaking some out here and there throughout the afternoon & early evening. Anyone know how many are out?
Have you just missed any? Want to tell your fellow Posties you're one of the lucky ones who grabbed an Opp already?
Know if the big $500 one is out yet?
Tell us how $1K Tuesday's going for you!
The first Opp is out - let the fun begin! Good luck, Posties!
Posties!! It is Tuesday. That means it is a big, $1K Tuesday!! Are you ready? Remember, between today at noon and Wednesday at noon, there will be several secret Opp's being released. The offer amounts added up from all Opp's will total a whopping $1,000.00, and there is no segmentation on these Opp's. That's right, that means every type of blogger from every location with any ranking is eligible.
Remember we used to comment on the Opp's themselves that bloggers who had accepted a PPP promo Opp in the past 30 days was not eligible? Well, now the system has the ability to automatically bench Posties who have accepted our promo Opp's. We wanted to give you a heads up that we are in fact benching folks for 30 days from the promo Opp's in order to further spread the love among our entire Posite community. No worries, though, that will not keep you from any regular PPP Opp's, just the promos, and just for 30 days - that's like a blink in blogging time.
A: Most of us (including me!)
The great news is that we have a bunch of advertisers who want to give you guys free stuff. The bad news is that many of you haven't yet provided us with your address, making it hard for us to have enough Posties to execute product sampling for advertisers with bigger budgets. If we don't have enough addresses the advertisers simply don't do the campaign at all...everybody looses out. No product, no opps about the product.... and sad, sad sales people.
Have you ever been around a sad sales person? It's no fun.
The solution is simple (trumpets please), all you need to do it provide us with your address. Your address will never be sold. Anything you receive will always come from PPP and identified as such. To start receiving cool stuff all you have to do is click the "my address" button on your dashboard. Fill it out and you are good to go.
Attention Posties!
What would you do if you saw a golden Opportunity right before your eyes? Would you pass it up? Of course not! You’d pick it up ASAP, right?
Guess what? It’s time for another product sampling! The same Advertiser who brought you the Freeze It Gel Opportunity will soon bring another Opportunity to PayPerPost. The Advertiser will handpick Posties, so make sure your ducks are in a row. Please make sure you log into your account and have a current mailing address.
The Advertiser was delighted with your participation and your help is needed once again! Thanks for all your wonderful posts. Show them what you’re made of. We can’t stress the importance of having current addresses. How else will you get your own piece of sunshine?
p.s. US and Canada Posties only
The $500 Opp is live, and was reserved about 2-3 minutes after release. So, looks like we did have some folks dozing at the computer. 2-3 minutes? For $500? That's taking quite the chance! It's reserved now, and we'll check on it once we're in the office (yeah, I'm headed to bed.)
Posties can take a sneak peek at the blogger who's reserved it by checking out the Top Earners of the day. Log in! Here's a hint . . . she recently had some bad luck with fast food.
Ok, that's not really so much a 'hint' as a direct link to her blog. But look - it's late, or early. Either way, we look forward to your post, Laurie!
Posties!! Are you up? If you're drifting off, get some more coffee, chai, red bull, whatever works for you (ok - it's sugar for me not caffeine. I am all over those chocolate chip cookies I baked!)
I am here, and we'll be releasing opp's 'til noon tomorrow for $1K Tuesday. A few are out, most of those have been taken already . . . . Maybe all by the time you read this. But there are more on the way.
It's a total of $1,000.00!! Open to everyone! Within just 24 hours! Get in there - grab your share!
ok - gotta get back to work, there is a $1K Tuesday to run here people!
-K
Hey Posties!!
Some of the $1K Tuesday Opp's are out, and they're being grabbed. Great job to those of you who have found them! And to everyone else: keep your peepers peeled . . . . there are more to come. Several hours, will you stay up? Will you take cat naps throughout the night? Does fate have $500 coming your way? Anyone setting your alarm for a time you think the big Opp may be released?
Stay tuned . . . they're coming!!
